SEMI-SOUNDFRONT Rodanthe - Cross of Honor Way SUMMER DUCK is located across a quiet cul de sac from the peaceful Pamlico Sound. Enjoy spectacular views of the sound to the west, the pristine Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge to the north, as well as ocean views to the east, from this lovely home's well-furnished decks. Step out back and jump into the crystal waters of your private swimming pool or head to the beach for a day of frolicking in the waves. The ocean is just a quick walk away using a community boardwalk and easy beach access across the road. After a day in the ocean or sound, relax sore muscles in the 6 person hot tub. Inside, choose from 5 well-appointed bedrooms, including a king master bedroom on the top level and a queen master bedroom on the mid-level, each with its own private bathroom. Also on the mid-level are two queen bedrooms, one with private entrance into the common bathroom. A bunk bedroom is located on the lower level, and would use the common bathroom on the mid-level. The top level great room is full of windows, almost floor to ceiling allowing lots of beautiful sunlight into the home as well as breathtaking views from the kitchen, dining and living areas. The kitchen provides all that you need for a week full of food preparation and enjoyment. The adjacent dining area seats 10 comfortably. End your days with the panoramic view in the great room and star gazing from the deck and covered porch. With the new Jug Handle Bridge recently opened the once-busy road has been emptied of through traffic, making the route to the beach that much easier! New for 2023: New mattress in king master bedroom. New exterior paint and fortified roof.
New for 2022: Three new, larger TVs (one in second master, other two in queen bedrooms). All new bedding. More seating on the decks. Two new sets of bunk beds and a totally restocked kitchen!
Beds
All homes provide pillows and blankets for each bed. A pyramid bunk has a single bed on top and either a double or queen bed on the bottom. A trundle is a single bed that pulls out from beneath another bed.
