Plan Sea

Plan Sea is your ideal Sandbridge vacation home for both beach and bay lovers alike! Ideally located in the heart of Sandbridge, it is one of the few canal-front homes that is only a short walk to the beach. You can access Back Bay with your own backyard boat ramp, which can accommodate your kayaks, canoes and paddle boards, and up to your pontoon boat. After a day on the water or at the beach, you can relax in your own backyard pool and catch some shade or sun on multiple decks. Plan Sea is located a few steps off the main road and is nestled in a quieter, more residential neighborhood. Rent bikes to take a quick one mile ride to Sandbridge Market, ice cream at the Sugar Shack or dinner at Sandbridge Island Restaurant, and other shops and restaurants at the entrance of Sandbridge. It is a three mile bike ride to dinner at Baja, or the playground, fishing pier and beach at Little Island Park. It is a four mile bike ride to the secluded and beautiful Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge through which you can access False Cape State Park. You can also take a short drive to visit the local area including the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, restaurants and shopping nearby at the Red Mill shopping center, and other local attractions.

The floor plan is ideal for families vacationing together. The main level has a spacious open living room/kitchen that is centrally located between two wings that include two bedrooms and one full bath each. For 2023, an ensuite bath was added to the main level king bedroom and the kitchen has been completely redesigned and renovated. The second level received new flooring and both existing baths were totally renovated (tub remains in north hall bath and shower in south). Updated living room area and back deck.

Upgrades over the last few years include: 2022 - renovated downstairs bedroom to make it a king suite including a private bathroom with shower and converted the garage into an additional bedroom with a twin over double bunk bed and a twin, plus a game room with seating area, TV, full size fridge and pool table.

The backyard is fenced but can easily accommodate your boat trailer. Make note that typical summer draft in the canal is about five feet, and Back Bay does not go much deeper in many parts.
